The Ideal Candidate:
Has a friendly disposition and shows enthusiasm for beer culture/styles
Can share thoughtful beer descriptions with inquiring guests
Understands the importance of cleanliness as it relates to ALL aspects of beer and pouring it in the tasting room
Maintains a clean, organized bar throughout shift
Pays attention to detail: cleanliness, punctuality, money-handling, etc.
Maintains an accurate bank before, during, and after shift
Is an honest and hardworking team player
Has ability to work efficiently, yet safely
Takes initiative, while being able to take direction from superiors
Enthusiastically tells the Eppig story
Requirements: Applicants must be 21+ years of age. The job’s essential functions include standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs, as needed, LEAD Certification, possession of or the ability to obtain a Food Handler’s card within three (3) weeks of hire, and availability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Desired qualities: honest, self-starter, plays well with others, 2 year minimum experience, draft maintenance experience, Beer Server Cicerone certified (1st level) preferred
Priority will be given to applicants with experience in event coordinating and/or leading beer tours.
